Island 2 Wood Stove in Original Brick Inglenook Fireplace

Red brick inglenook fireplace
Project Info:

Installation of a Charnwood Island 2 multi fuel stove into an ancient red brick inglenook style fireplace which dates back to the 1400's.

The house dates back to the 1200's where originally the chimney would have been a simple hole in the roof! Using a flexible stainless steel liner with insulating chimney liner wrap, we sympathetically relined the large brick flue to ensure its safe use in the 21st century while causing no detriment to this amazing old structure.
