Vlaze Heat Shield Enamel Fireplace Panels

Scarlett Fireplaces supply and install Vlaze enamel panel fireplace surrounds, frames and hearths which are a range of vitreous enamel panels designed and manufacturered in the UK.

Vlaze panels are specifically designed as heat shields, surrounds and hearths for wood burners. Installed, the shield reduces the required distances to combustible materials from heat sources such as freestanding and inset stoves. The exceptional surface finish is created by fusing powdered glass to steel at temperatures in excess of 800°C. The heat shield is quick and easy to install and features a dual skin of steel.

The result is a luxurious, vibrant enamel glaze that does not crack or discolor, is heat and chemical resistant and is available in a wide range of plain colors with the pattern or light texture. Vlaze is British made in A.J. Wells workshops on the Isle of Wight. The same factory that manufactures much of the iconic signage for The London Underground and the Charnwood Stove range.
