Restored Victorian Fireplace Chamber with Oak Beam

Island 2 with original brick fireplace chamber
Project Info:

We uncovered and renovated the original brick builders hole with arch.

Our team uncovered an original brick builders hole with arch and renovated the brickwork using a lime based mortar pointing. Plain plastered walls contrast with and emphasise the beauty of the original bricks and the waxed oak beam compliments this pairing to a tee.

A natural finish sandstone hearth was the final element before installing the Charnwood Island II wood burning stove.

This installation really brought the true character of this home alive.
