Natural stone hearths made from limestone, sandstone and marble slabs for fireplaces are cut to size and supplied and installed by Scarlett Fireplaces in various sizes, shapes and thickness to suit your design requirements

With all types of natural stone, there are varying colours and unique natural vein patterns to choose from. Natural stone hearth finishes are either polished, for a shiny smooth surface or honed for a duller textured surface. Stone can withstand high temperatures found in fireplaces but must be installed as sections near hot wood fires to allow for expansion.
