All the wood burning stoves in the UK range use either a catalytic combustor or clean burn technology to burn off the smoke produced when burning wood, resulting in lower emissions and extra heat and efficiency.
The Intrepid and Encore wood burning models have both been tested in the UK for exemption from the clean air act and can therefore be used in smoke controlled areas.
Vermont castings also produce multi-fuel and gas versions.
